Located just outside of Cedar Rapids in Walford, Knapp Creek Event Center is excited to be the premier wedding and event venue in southeast Iowa! With an outdoor ceremony space, two massive preparation suites and a ballroom for 300+ guests, Knapp Creek is your one stop shop for your wedding or event! THE ARRAY BALLROOM

Where do we begin?! Should we start with the roughly 4,700 square feet of maple flooring? Or maybe we should talk about the additional 6,500 square feet of perimeter around the maple floor. Either way, with 11,500 square feet to work with, this space is grandiose and makes a statement!

THE MONROE SUITE

Welcome to The Monroe Suite. Located right across the hall from The Array Ballroom in a totally remodeled schoolhouse from 1920 (we even kept the original maple floor), we designed a space that conveyed grace, elegance and just the right amount of glam. The Monroe Suite was curated to perfectly outline the wants and needs of those who are going to use it most.

Our Aspen Suite will be the catalyst for your amazing experience at Knapp Creek Event Center. Oh yeah, did we mention that it comes with a private bar? Bring the entire wedding party back to this suite and start the party before the reception even begins.

THE ROSA BAR

The Rosa Bar makes a statement the moment you walk into the main event space! Talk about "raising the bar" for wedding and event venues! The Rosa Bar not only functions with the highest rate of efficiency found at a venue, it looks really good doing it! This 70' U-shaped custom quartz bar was designed with not only your guest experience in mind, but we wanted to create a bar that let our bartenders create an unparalleled flow and impact when it comes to getting you and your guests a drink.

THE PALMER PAVIlLION & OUTDOOR CEREMONY AREA

Outdoor ceremony? No problem. Outdoor cocktail hour? Done.

Totaling 19,000 sq/ft. of usable space inside the cedar privacy fence, creating a beautiful outdoor ceremony has never been easier. 4800 sq/ft. of hard surface area allows for plenty of legroom for a seated ceremony. Utilize the 1600 sq/ft. Palmer Pavilion for a casual, shaded ceremony or cocktail hour.
